The Discovery
Marco came to BC through a referral. He was an operations manager at a regional construction and manufacturing company and needed a full website overhaul, e-commerce, product catalog, migration, ongoing maintenance, the works. The scope was significant and he needed someone who could handle all of it.
He found us. We took the call.
The Work
We ran a full discovery conversation to understand what he actually needed. While we worked through the details we secured and transferred his domain in the interim so he wouldn’t lose ground waiting.
Then we told him the truth.
The engagement he needed was beyond what a solo consulting operation could deliver responsibly. He needed a full development team: people with the infrastructure, bandwidth, and specialization to build what he was describing. Taking the work would have meant overpromising. That’s not how BC operates.
We walked him through exactly what to look for in a development partner and sent him in the right direction.
The Impact
Marco didn’t get a website from BC. He got an honest assessment, a protected domain, and a clear path forward with someone who could deliver to the scope and goals he had.
Sometimes the most useful thing you can do for a client is tell them the truth — and mean it.
